Condobolin District Retirement Village Staff

The Condobolin District Retirement Village is staffed by a dedicated team of nurses, a medical officer, personal care assistants, recreational therapists, domestic and food service staff and maintenance personnel.

Nursing services include a Registered Nurse on duty at all times supported by Enrolled and Assistant Nurses and Personal Care Attendants. Most nursing and care support staff are equipped with a Certificate in Aged Care or higher qualification that enables the provision of quality nursing care to meet individual resident needs. The Medical Officer (doctor) is available on-call 7 days a week and provides a weekly service to monitor residents' health status.

Quality, homelike meals are prepared on-site by trained food service employees. The kitchen prides itself on its' flexibility to provide nutritious and appealing foods whilst accommodating special diets and menu selection wherever needs arise.

Director of Nursing

Director of Nursing, Fiona Barrett has more than 17 years experience as a Registered Nurse in a variety of health service facilities including aged care. Fiona has a diploma of Applied Science and degree in Health Science. She commenced working at CDRV in March 2004 as Deputy Director of Nursing and has been working as Director of Nursing since July 2006. She has played an integral part in the smooth running of CDRV and has been the driving force in achieving ongoing accreditation.

Acting Hostel Supervisor, Leanne Nagle

Acting Team Leader Finance & Maintenance, Elizabeth Keen commenced working at CDRV in September 1996 as the Administration Clerk and has been working as Acting Team Leader since July 2007. Elizabeth has Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, Word Processing Specialist/Trainer Program and Advance Certificate in Office Administration. Elizabeth is a dedicated employee with a high knowledge of administrative and computer functions.

Quality Coordinator, Sue JohnsonSue Johnson
Quality Coordinator

Quality Coordinator, Sue Johnson is currently working in our Quality Improvement arena.
Sue has been a loyal employee of the CDRV for the past 5 years having attained her Cert III in Aged Care through an LSC generated traineeship then attained her Cert IV earlier this year.
Sue is currently studying Quality Improvement education and Assessor training through the Aged Care Standards & Accreditation industry.
She aspires of becoming a working Assessor for the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Industry. Sue possesses excellent computer and office skills and is a qualified Bowen Therapist in her spare time.
Sue’s prime focus is in maintaining a quality care system for the residents of CDRV and promotion of staff education.
